It is a very good idea to purchase both an Armor Smithbox and a Weapon Smithbox from Andre of Astora. You will need to purchase Smithboxes on each play through.

With an Armor Smithbox you can reinforce your armour pieces at Bonfires without visiting a Blacksmith.

Not to be confused with the Repairbox, which will only repair wear and tear damage (Durability). The Repairbox is also sold by Andre.
